I've built a record in the Utah House that reflects the values District 52 families care about most: limited government, lower taxes, protected rights, and a legislature that actually listens. As Chair of the House Business and Labor Committee, I've turned that commitment into results, authoring landmark legislation like Utah's Regulatory Sandbox Program and pushing through meaningful tax reductions that keep more money in your pocket.
I'm not a politician coasting on a title. I'm a Lehi small business owner who came to the Capitol to get things done, and my record reflects that. From strengthening Second Amendment protections to closing loopholes that put our kids at risk, I've shown up every session ready to fight for Utah families.
Roots & Values
I was raised to believe that faith, family, and community aren't just words; they're the foundation everything else is built on. Linda and I chose Lehi as our home, and after years of building our life here, there's nowhere else we'd rather be. This is where we've planted ourselves for good, and that kind of commitment runs deeper than a campaign sign in the yard.
Our three adult children have built their own lives and families across the country, giving us three grandchildren and even a great-grandson we're proud to brag about. We may not have little ones underfoot anymore, but that doesn't make us any less invested in the schools, the neighborhoods, and the future of this community. If anything, it means our stake here is purely about leaving District 52 better than we found it.
As a returned LDS missionary and a man of deep faith, I bring those values with me into every vote I cast. I believe in the sanctity of life, the strength of the family, and the kind of community where neighbors still look out for each other. Lehi is home. It always will be. And that's exactly why I fight for it.

My business, Maloy PR, is based right here in Silicon Slopes, giving me a front-row seat to the challenges and opportunities facing Utah's business community. I understand what it takes to meet a payroll, navigate state regulations, and build something from the ground up. That perspective goes with me to the Capitol every time I vote.
When constituents reach out, I respond. When issues affect our district, I'm already working on them. Whether it's cutting red tape for Utah businesses, fighting for the infrastructure our growing region needs, or standing firm on the constitutional values that define who we are as a state, I show up. That's the job, and it's one I take seriously every single day.
