I Stand with you on the Issues that Matter Most.

As our state grows, we can’t forget the principles that make our community strong, resilient, and a wonderful place to build Lives and raise families. That’s why I serve.

Northwest Utah County—our community—is gridlocked. Transportation infrastructure is needed and needed now! We need new roads and highways for improved access to our homes, schools, workplaces, and city centers. I along with many of our Utah County caucus members are working to get our cities, county, state, and federal agencies to cut through the red tape, and execute road plans immediately. We will continue to do all we can to break up this gridlock as soon as possible.

I support mass transit options that can help move people quickly, efficiently, and cost effectively. I don’t support mass transit just for the sake of mass transit.

I champion smart, fiscally responsible policies that ensure a seamless and prosperous future, where our transportation system supports, not hinders, our communities and families.

Transportation

I've successfully defended Utahns' right to bear arms, in line with the Second Amendment and Utah Constitution—and I will continue to do so. I have been one of the leading legislators protecting Second Amendment rights and combating gun control initiatives. I’m respectfully called, “The Gun Guy” by colleagues and constituents due to my work.

I oppose criminal actions, and seek solutions to reduce violence by examining root causes and utilizing the full strength of our Justice System on criminals.

Conservative Values

In fostering a robust and flourishing economy, I recognize the indispensable partnership between businesses and labor. The backbone of our nation's prosperity lies in the hardworking men and women who contribute to the growth of enterprises both large and small. By championing a business-friendly environment, we empower job creators to innovate, expand, and provide valuable employment opportunities.

Business and Labor

I support local control of Utah's school curriculum, empowering parents with educational choices and funding teacher salaries. With a focus on early literacy through initiatives like the Utah School Readiness and UPSTART programs, we set children on a path to success. Results-driven policies ensure reading proficiency, prioritize STEM education, and efficiently allocate resources. Utah's Applied Tech Colleges provide valuable alternatives, addressing skilled labor shortages and securing a prosperous future for our youth.
