Early Legislative Wins


HB 257: Sex-based Designations for Privacy, Anti-bullying,
and Women's Opportunities

In the Business and Labor Committee (and later on the House floor), we successfully passed HB 257—a crucial step towards ensuring privacy in government-funded buildings. I'm grateful for the overwhelming support this bill received.

HB 261: Equal Opportunity Initiatives
Additionally, the House Education Committee approved HB 261, which then went on to pass the House floor by an overwhelming majority. This bill is imperative to preventing our higher education institutes from engaging in practices that may not serve the majority of our students. We are empowering these institutions to engage in fair practices in Higher Education. Your voices have been heard and as always, your support matters immensely.
